i dont have time to drive to find out the sex of my snake after work cuz everything is already closed so i want to know if its really hard to do urself and a big no no if ive never done it before. i dont want to stress out my snake if its too hard to do and i woudnt want to hurt it in any way. any help woud be great guys, thanks :banana:

If you can call a veterinarian, they could talk you through it.

I do not suggest you probe, it is highly dangerous for in-experienced people, I suggest 'popping', it's when the male sex organs 'pop' out :P It is quite easy, and there are plenty of videos of it, too!

I would try to find a local experienced breeder to pop him/her for you and hopefully show you how to do it as well. Even if it means waiting a few days until you have some time off. I hear that it is very tricky and you should watch someone else do it before attempting it yourself.

You can start watching videos on how to do it so you have an idea, but wait until you find someone who KNOWS how to do it to show you.

ive seen videos on popping the snakes and it seems fairly easy but im just afraid ill be hurting the snake even if im doin a good job :( and i dont want him to get scared or something and maybe hate me for it lol

I doubt snakes hold grudges :) And if done correctly, you won't be harming the snake. Since you don't feel comfortable, why don't you wait a few days, then ask a experienced veterinarian to do it? They will be able to show you, and maybe you'll feel more comfortable then?

one more thing..... i fed my snake on saturday and today is monday, how long should i wait untill i proceed with the popping?

Just give it the normal 48 hours after feeding before handling.
