    Confused on shipping?
I am trying to find some African Soft Furred Rats in my state... And I can't seem to find any :sigh2:, but there is someone named Tony Savarese who is willing to ship (:w00t:). But, being new to all of this, what are the rules and regulations (or guidelines?) of shipping rats (live)? And what other airline, other than Delta, ships live rats?

    Thank you everybody,
    Mackenzie
Hopelessly lost and confused  :confuse:

You MUST ship live rats the same way you would ship a live puppy or cat. They must be accompinied by a vet health certificate, shipped in a proper rodent caging shipping container(so they can't chew out etc) and be shipped overnight. You can either ship via an airline(like a dog IF the airline accepts rodents) OR Delta which stilla ccepts live animal shipments.

Expect to pay at least $70 just for the shipping, in addition to the cost of the rats, the cost for the certificates and the shipping container possibly, depending on the seller.

You can't just put mammals into a box and ship them. There's a whole lotta regulations on how/who/when you can ship mammals.

    Hope this helped.
