Herpstat II - Good Deal?

I've got a new rack and need a proper thermostat to maintain temps and keep the animals safe most importantly. Stumbled across this on clist and wanted ya'lls opinions

I have a herpstat II that I'm selling due to re-homing my lizards. It still works great on regulating temperatures. It comes with everything originally included, including the box and manual. My only worry is that this won't work right for a single rack, or that it's "overkill"....He says it's in killer shape, and obviously I won't buy if it's anything less than he says, but I've been able to wait him out and work him down to $75

It seems like a killer deal, just unsure of whether it is the right product for a single, 3 tub rack....Thanks guys :salute:

If it is in good condition, you are getting a $200 tstat for $75. What is wrong with that? A new Herpstat (1) is about $100.

It's 2 tstats in one. That leaves a lot of room for expansion. An incubator, a different species of snakes, etc etc.

As Danny said if its in good working order its a great deal I have both a herpstat basic and a herpstat pro and I love them both.

As this would be my first t-stat, I don't have as much knowledge as I'd like, but I seem to always see these guys praised on here

x2 I just ordered one myself, 2-zone Heprpstat right at $200- shipped. 4- zone is really nice also for around $315.
