Confused?
Hi, im kind of confused..:S
My 6 month old ball python was due for a meal around 2 1/2 weeks ago, he wouldnt eat when i tried. Lastnight i tried again, nothing. I left the mouse (dead) in with him for the night because ive read that it sometimes works, i woke up this morning and no mouse, but theres absolutly no lump in his belly like i thought there would be. Shouldnt it show if he ate? Im new to this lol.

Re: Confused?
Depends how big the mouse is compared to the snake. Sometimes it wont show. If the mouse was a lot larger you may see a small bump. But if the mouse was dead and its gone, I'd say he ate it.

Re: Confused?
Some ball pythons will only eat if they are left alone. But if the mouse was in fact dead, I would say it ate also. Them eating will not always leave a lump in their belly.

Make sure you look in the hides and stuff to make sure that it didn't get hid somewhere. If it did, you will smell it soon enough... :weirdface
