Re: Do these still look ok??
Hard to say for certain based on the pictures, but to me, it looks like there may be issues with all but the top left and bottom left egg (bottom right could be okay too, seems like the lighting is a bit funky).
I hope I'm wrong. :(
Re: Do these still look ok??
Are these eggs too moist? Mine are dryer somewhat yet full with one wrinkle. They to are around 45 day mark. I put plastic wrap then the top on mine but I also used distilled water when moistening the vermiculite. Good luck to all!
Re: Do these still look ok??
I had plastic wrap on mine also...and the condensation on my tubs is increasing alot...i cant seem to keep it down..any ideas??
Re: Do these still look ok??
Top left is OK and bottom left is OK. Unfortunately the reimainder are going bad. Your vermiculite looks is extremely wet, is it?
Re: Do these still look ok??
I did the 1/1 by weight...and the condensation is hard to control in my tubs...i just installed a fan in the incubator to try to fix that for the other clutch i have in there currently....should i just cut these eggs now?? or??
Re: Do these still look ok??
After checking my vermiculite once again it feels fine and it not very wet...but when i open the egg tub it always has excessive condensation built up on the top of it...how can i correct that??
Re: Do these still look ok??
I would leave them, I have had eggs with mold before and still go full term. IMO there is only one egg that looks iffy.
If you can separate the one moldy egg from them rest without damaging the eggs you may be okay. Then again like I said they may all go full term with no problems.
You can use a soft cloth and try to wipe the surface mold off and see if that helps.
You only have a week left and then you can cut them to see how they are. Just remember to keep them moist with water until they come out of the egg.

Re: Do these still look ok??
Well considering its Day 45, Cut the eggs and you will know.
I cut all mine around day 45-50 no ill effects.
You will know first hand if its bad or not.
Re: Do these still look ok??
I was going to say the same thing. I cut on day 52 but cutting them a little earlier will not hurt. Maybe just cut the ones changing colors. It looks like your vermiculite was way to wet. The last couple of weeks the eggs start sweating alot and this is probably where most of your moisture came from. The color change could just be from condensation dripping of the lid of the egg box onto the eggs. Cut them open, I hope they are ok.
