Re: Need some insight.....
I don't see why not.
...Aren't the hemipenes supposed to come out during breeding though?
Or does he just prolapse?
Re: Need some insight.....
I guess they stayed out so he quit breeding him and his strictly a pet now.
The breeder said he only has the issue when breeding and assured me that he would stand behind the purchase if at any time down the road I have issues.
Should I go for it.

Thats your call. :) Sounds like you want him :P
Re: Need some insight.....
Well, I just have no experience with this problem - is it a serious problem?? He will not be bred in my care so I don't think it should be an issue but was hoping you experts could shed more light on the issue.
Thanks
Re: Need some insight.....
If it only happens when he is being bred, and you are not going to breed him, then it should never be an issue.
Re: Need some insight.....
Okay, thanks for the info. I will decide tomorrow when I see him at the show - I have only seen pictures at this point.
Re: Need some insight.....
this is kind of funny, I also have a "special needs" mojave.
He has a tiny spinal kink at the base of his tail. I don't think it will interfere with breeding or anything though.
Re: Need some insight.....
You're right - if I get him he will be my "special needs" child. I'm anxious to see him. He is about 700/800 grams. How much do Mojave usually run?
Re: Need some insight.....
I think they are about 300 now. Somewhere around there..
