    "reusing" a heat pad
bought a bp with "full setup" and the heat pad was adhered to the bottom of the bin already using the "convenient" self adhering side.

I'd like to move the snake to my rack and use the heat pad it came with for now, but I'm a little bit skeptical about pulling it off and trying to re-attach it to my rack.

mostly worried about damaging the pad and compromising the chance of using it on the rack.

does anyone have any idea of the possibility of this?

just like to save the cost of a new one until I can get some heat tape.

    thanks

What you do is turn on the heat pad so the sticky substance softens up. Once that happens you slowly peel it off. It should still be sticky enough to use on anything you want. I've reused many of my zoomed uth's on different occasions. Even on ones the glue is gone it should not be an issue.
