    Color and Litter size?
I have read posts saying that color doesn't matter, but I have an amber red eyed male that is paired up with two pieds and have had litters of 10 or better. I have paired up one of his sons with two unrelated amber red eye females and litter #1 has 14 pinks in it. Could this be a color related thing or mabey just a line thing? I am going to keep two females out of this litter and put them in with a dark self colored male when they are up to size. Any color that you guys have bigger litters from? My grimlins proudce ok but not as well as the ambers. My selfs have just started producing average litter sizes of about 7-10. I don't have good luck with the pieds but they do make good foster parents. I have a few of extrem pieds not sure of their name but they only have a small amount of color on their backs. They produce litters of about 7-10 on the average.

Never tracked by color. I just get 10-18 babies from any given female every 3 weeks. So I stopped counting. I dunnoz.
