ovulation

does ovulation make female snakes cranky? i've got my heart set on a female cinny & was just wondering if females get cranky when they ovulate? how often do they hit ovulation? i've got NO intention of breeding as i'm just starting out & this snake i get will strictly be a pet.

Females are only going to ovulate if they are bred, unless, parthenogenesis takes place. Parthenogenesis very rarely takes place so that would not be something I would be worried about. Get yourself a Cinny as a hatchling and raise her up odds are she will be a great animal for you. I have 2 girls and they love the snakes! Stick around here and you will learn a lot.:gj:
