    What happens at shows?
I'm going to my first show towards the end of the month, and I know I'll be acquiring a new snake (most likely a king/milk) and also I'm going to try and get some f/t mice for the current and new snake in bulk.

I was wondering, if you buy them at the beginning, do you have to to carry your purchases around with you while you do the rest of the show?
Or do most vendors keep them until you are ready to leave and then hand them over?

I really don't want to be carry a box full of frozen mice around with me all day ya know?

feeder mice i normally order ahead from rodentpro online for cheaper prices and pick up near the end of the show since they hold it for me.

Live feeders i pay the guy and he puts em "in the back"

Snakes or anything i leave at my buddy's table

Usually people who sell frozen feeders will hold them for you until you are ready to leave. Some breeders will do the same with animals if you ask.

Also a lot of breeders will accept a "deposit" at the show.

Say you come in with $300 and want a $600 snake. You can give em the $300 if u can get the next $300 before the end of the show. If not.. Then you just lost $300?

All vendors will have their own practice. All would depend on your comfort level with that vendor. However, I would take the snake and carry it with you after the purchase. As far as the rodents, most vendors will hold them for you after you've paid for them.

But realize it's up to the vendor.

    Good Luck!

I buy F/T feeders at shows. The sizes usually run out (at the show I go to) so I run in right when the door opens, buy my feeders, and then run out to the car and chuck them in a cooler full of ice I keep in the trunk. Then I'm free to enjoy the show at my liesure.

Also, I've never been to a show without a nearby ATM, but the ATM often runs out of cash as the day wears on.

Some vendors will just mark the snake as sold, until you come pick it up...

The breeder will typically hold it for you. At least that has been my experience.

    Ok. Thanks.
So they may hold of to the feeders, if not, I should come prepared with a cooler full of ice in the truck.
