    Disappointed.
Well I satred pairing my big girl up with my pastel boy back in Novevmber. It looked as though she was developing about a month ago, glowing, bowl wrap, the whole 9 yards. Anyway 2 weeks ago I went on a 3 day archery shoot with my dad and big brother, I cam back to see her with no glow, no paunch, nothing. I'm thinking she reabsorbed =( This was my first season with just 1 lady.

Not how I wanted my hobby breeding to start out.

Dont give up hope yet, I have read a ton of times that a lot of owners didn't even know their BP was gravid. As I have never breed I wouldn't know for sure but I still wouldn't give up hope just yet ;)

man that is EXACTLY what happened to me last season. i thought for sure i would get an ovulation. she was the only breedable female i had that season, and this one. i did get an ovulation this season though. but maybe you just missed something! i have heard of plenty of people that thought their girl reabsorbed and then they get surprised with eggs after they give up hope. maybe its a female thing haha

I just had 2 girls drop eggs in the last week that I didn't see anything from them.

Yeah, the girls like to play tricks sometimes. Give a little time and see what happens.

Well, shes in shed now... The thing that gets me is the complete loss of the paunch.

yeah i got one the looked to ovl a month before my het pied and norging since , i am now waiting on my het pied to shed so i can wear out the cage checking and she not showing at all unless you pick her up and let the back 2/3 hang free. then can see a slight sign but i don't feel anything and am waiting a much as i can since i can't force her to go faster. the other female rightnow is consider notgravid but i still prepared a tun just to cover my butt.

I've gotta say with a single female it's really hit or miss. I bought 7 big females for my first season ( 2009/2010 ), and so far I've had 3 girls ovulate, and 2 more that are close. So if I get 4 or 5 clutches out of 7 girls I'm going to consider myself REALLY lucky.

Also one of my girls seemed to stop developing for about 3 weeks. I figured she reabsorbed her follicles. Then I palpated her, and now her follicles are huge. Go figure.
