My husband's first pet was a parakeet and he really was interested in another bird. We liked the conures but because of cost and noise limits in an apartment we went with a less talkative bird. So far he just chirps and it isnt like the screams of conures :P
He is about 4 months old.
He has learned step up and my husband is trying to teach him to say 'hey buddy'. He is in our living room and thinks the video game noises are funny and chirps after random noises.
I was formerly afraid of birds but having to work with them at my job has cured that fear. This little guy is such a sweet heart though. Just watch out he likes to pull earrings!
Any one got any great name suggestions?
