Little white things in snakes habitat.... ???
Hello.
I have found two little white ball shaped things in my snake cage and Iam wondering what they may be. I found one in one of her hides and another near another hide. I am thinking she might have thrown a little bit of her food up. Is this whatthe remnants may look like?
It is a white, almost ball/circular shaped substance. Suprisingly it's quite hard. What can this be?
Re: Little white things in snakes habitat.... ???
No, that is definitely not a regurgitation. A regurgitation can be somewhat recognizable to looking like soup, but it will smell horrible. Are you sure they are not urates? Urates can range vastly in size.

That's what I figured. At first I thought it was some sort of fungus like growth since I noticed it first in his hide, which is a tree bark type of hide thing. Now I found one outside of the hide on top of the substrate. What could it be????

It's called urates, the snake version of pee. Totally normal :)

My vote is for urates too...and normal
