    Size of Adult Boa
    Those of you that have adult Columbian Red Tail Boas, please post their adult weights and lengths. I'm just curious. :P My little girl is growing so fast now. If you want, post up a picture or two. And what does BCC and BCI stand for and which snakes are which? Haha. I guess I'm just getting all sorts of excited because I hope to get a male next season and if my female's growth wasn't stunted, then I plan on breeding her once she is big enough.

    BCI = Boa Constrictor Imperator

    BCC = Boa Constrictor Constrictor

    The vast majority of the boas on the market are BCI. From my understanding BCC tend to get a little bit larger on average and are less forgiving of husbandry errors. Once you look at a bunch of pictures of boas you will be able to notice the difference pretty easily.

    I have a female BCI that is just over 3 years old and is in the 6 to 7 foot range. I'll get some pictures up later because I just fed her today. She still has a little bit of growing to do because I tend to stick to a conservative feeding schedule for my boas.
