I hate it when I have bad feeding days. Charade's getting 2 mice, after the second one I went back and checked him and there was a smear of blood on the paper. Figured it was from the mouse but I checked him anyway and imagine my consternation when I found a spot of blood on him that didn't wipe off. Really minor bite, so I put a little peroxide on it.

Bugs me cause it was 2 weeks ago that Phoenix got bit up, tho hers is worse. Didn't find blood in her cage but I may have missed it cause she had a pretty good gouge taken out. Healing really slow but snakes do things slowly. I didn't treat it before but since I had the peroxide out I put some on her plus a little neosporin. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...b&id=785733059

Because she got bit I've been giving the corns f/t. Ember is in shed and struck and missed a good 4 or 5 times, something he's never done before. Then he tried to eat the mouse but spit it out. I weighed it, 29g, would have made it about 16.7% of his body weight, just a little on the high side but I guess coupled with being in blue it crossed over into too big for him. So now I need to let him rest for a least a week till he feeds again, which will give him ample time to shed.

And on top of that, I thought Enigma was big enough to take 2 mice but he only ate one so I have a mouse in a tub till next feed.

I think I need to downsize on the mice, I've been getting good-sized 25-30g mice but I guess Paradox is the only one who's big enough to take them easily. But I'm blah, I failed everywhere with them.
