    Gravid? First Time Breeder
    Hi Everyone,
I have been building my collection for awhile now and late in the season I decided to take a shot at seeing if I can get my norm. female and my ghost to breed. I know the project is not the best; however, its my first shot and I want to make sure I do everything right if I get a clutch now, than when I start with my more fun projects. Since its my first time around and not really knowing what to expect, I wanted your guys opinion if shes gravid or not. Shes not eating. She was on the smaller side 1850 grams when she started breeding with the ghost. Shes changed color drastically, shes looking closer shades to my vanilla now. Shes "swollen" in the lower middle of her body. Heres some pics, not really great ones.

thats funny, your situation is just like mine. For my 1st breeding i decided to play it safe and I bred my normal female to my orange ghost male in january and in feburary she went off feed. Now my females due to lay on may 6th. anyways to answer your question IMO it appears like shes in the building stage. How long has it been since her last meal?

Hi, Looks good to me. She appears to be building follicles in that pic. From those pics doesn't look like ovulation yet, but your on your way to some het ghosts. :D
