    Boy or Girl
purchased a spider BP back in Nov as a male. Went to a show this past weekend and he was popped and probed. When popped two guys say male. When probed the probe says female. Could he be an immature male? Have not taken him to vet yet but plan too. He is about 8-9 months old, 28-30 inches long, but not sure of weight. He has never turned down a meal and gets feed a weaned rat every Tuesday. Any ideas?

I guess it will depend on the proficiency of the poppers and the probers as to who you will believe. If you are going to have a vet do the probing kind of quiz them on what they are doing which is an inconspicuous way of finding out if they actually know what they are doing. A few months ago another member had their snake probed by the vet and injured the snake...

If it was popped and you saw the hemipennes come out then it is a boy for sure!
