Odd behavior & strange noises? due to shed, hopefully??

Kash is very close to shedding & has spent the past few days in his hide, but he came out last night & was acting really odd. He was doing that thing cobra's do, with just his neck up..and was staying very still for quite some time. He was also puffing out his throat area alot & doing that yawning thing. I also heard some really odd noises that I've never noticed before. It did not sound like wheezing or gurgling..can't really describe it but I'm paranoid about RI's. He was up near the top of the tank, smelling around & it almost sounded as if he was blowing air thru the screen top. I've had some trouble with my ambient temps & am currently getting those under control. Any ideas on reasons for this weird behavior &/or the noises?

He may be trying to work the skin loose in preparation for shed. As long as you don't see any mucous, bubbles, or gurgling, I wouldn't worry. If he continues to do it after the shed, then it would be time to look for the causes, unless something presents itself before then...
