    Watering
I'm using water bottles now and the ball bearings are driving me crazy. I tried bowls but the asf's keep craping in it and putting their food in too. Does anyone know a water system I can use that doesn't make noise?

You can set up an auto water system. It takes nozels line and a bucket.

There are also bottles that do not have the bearings. I hate the ball bearings because after time they start to stick.

mmm, I haven't noticed that with mine. I can tell you they chew the food, I need to change something with that.

But those nozzles don't clank and raddle, so I think they would be much better.

I have never had a problem with the grav. nossils. Sometimes with taller tubs the ready-to-be weaned can't reach them from the floor so they "hop" to the cieling screen and grab the nossil with thier front legs and keep hold to the screen wth thier back while drinking.

I have a gravity system for my 2 big rat racks and I love them. Only problem is creating a mounting spot for the nozzle if you use tubs. They have clips that fit perfectly into the wire mesh for rodent racks but Im not sure how people do it for tubs. What do you keep yours in?

They do sell licker type of bottles, that do not have a ball, but rather are made like the auto-gravity sipper, where moving the stick releases water.
