    Glowing
my female is glowing just now. I felt 6-7 follicles up till maybe a week ago, now I don't feel much in her (just feels squishy), does that mean I missed the ovulation or do follicles go squishy after a while? I've had a reabsorption before from another female and they don't just disappear like that

p.s. she last shed on 24th Feb

When you say "just feels squishy", can you actually feel lumps? Like where one squishy lump ends and the next begins? Or is the no discerning any individual masses, as if there is nothing in her?

I ask cause after ovulation you can still feel each egg. From what I have experienced, as the eggs grow they start to feel like small water balloons filled with Jello. You can still easily count them. I wouldn't palpate too much after an ovy. though, just lightly if you NEED to "check up" on the development.

Good luck and I hope she's got 7 big eggies for ya!

Yeh I palpated again just now and I do feel lumps. They're pretty big follicles now, like decent size marbles. I wonder if the next shed is pre-ov shed or if she'll ovulate first then shed :)

If they're only marbles, you may have a bit longer to go still. They'll get about the size of golf balls or bigger, big enough that she feels FULL to the point that you almost can't feel where one stops and the next begins. Then she'll ovulate. :gj:

Yeh I probably underestimated the size there, they are actually more like almost golf ball size. It's really hard to feel where one stops and the next begins right now. Also, she has a noticable lump so she is definately building! Can't wait for ovulation! :D
