    Having issues with flexwatt
So i built a rack last week for my snakes and i went with back heat bc of the ease of doing it. But ive been having issues with getting the flexwatt itself to heat over 87 degrees. My house stays about 75 degrees. I even unplugged the flexwatt from the tstat and let it go full blast and still only 87 degrees.

Have you checked your connections on both sides of the flexwatt? It should be at least 100 F.

Yeah sounds like a bad connection. My Flexwatt went unregulated one time when one of the outlets on my herpstat failed, and it shot up to 152 degrees.

Are you using the clips, or solder?
