An age vs size vs breeding ? Opinions needed
I'm more of a ball python girl, but me and my b/f are getting into boas. I found an 09 female that we just don't want to pass up. The one thing that I'm debating over is her size. She is nearing one year old and is 24" give or take a few. (not sure of exact size-that's what the breeder said) From my research, that is nearly the size of a new born. I know I don't want a yearling that's already 5' but I was thinking 30-40" would be ideal at this age. Please correct me if I'm wrong! Is there a possiblity that she is stunted already? Could she be ready to breed as a 4yo? No power feeding. I'm talking about feeding once a week for a year and then once every 14days after 2yo.

Anyone ever dealth with this? All opinions greatly appreciated!

That's about normal. They are usually born measuring anywheres from 8-14 inches. Got any pics?
