Question

Is it a good time to start breeding,I've been thinking about it for about a year.I'm willing to put the time and money just wondering if it's a good economy and what not.

I bred my first clutch this year. a whopping killer of a get rick quick scheme. (not) A pastel and a normal.. I have homes for them regardless of the color they are and one of the pastels is going to a new home for free. (it trade for using her male to breed)

so here I am awaiting eggs any day now. Just so I can have some babys!

Nope, I'm not in this for the money at all I just like snakes what I'm asking is, would I be able to sell the babys within let's say....... three months. I know I'm not going to make much profit if any for a long time.

One more thing dose $500 sound realistic for a male and a DIY baby rack and adult rack? I already have a 2-2 and a half year old female that wieghs about 1000 grams.

For a male what? Normal, no.
And females should be around 3 years old before they breed with good results...

The market is good, but only for good quality ball pythons that are feeding well, in good condition and from a buyer with a good reputation...or from a no-name at a really cheap price.

So dose selling them within three months sound realistic? Or dose it just depend.

Depends on if they've been eating in that three months, what morphs (normals rarely sell fast) they are and if they're healthy.

In other words, if you're planning to get any money back...it's probably not worth it. Breeding for a hobby is much easier.

If I do breed it will just be because I love snakes.And i was thinking of starting with a spider and a pastel and shooting for bumble bees but that would be about $500 for the snakes alone.IDK I'm going to think it over and not rush into anything.
