Night drop
I have been allowing a night drop with my ball. Typically the temps are during the day averages 80.8 and 90.6 the average night temps are 78.6 and 86.3. Some places say to use a night drop some not to and others that just the cooler house at night is enough. It seems like there is quite a bit of debate on the matter. What are your thoughts?

Re: Night drop
Hi,
I don't use any night or seasonal drops at all at the moment.
I did cool down for breeding the year before last but the snakes still bred fine for me without it so I probably won't bother in the future unless I learn of a good reason to. (and that could easily happen - male breeding response is one possibility for example ).

Re: Night drop
Derek,
As I said I have looked at tons of care sheets and have read tons of varations I thought to my self that naturally the temp does drop so... but I have no idea if there are benefits or not so I thought to ask.

Re: Night drop
I don't have set night drops (ie, I don't adjust my thermostat). I don't cool when breeding either.
It does get a little cooler in the front of the enclosure and ambient temps at night, but not by much.
Been doing this for five years with no ill effects. :)
