For those that feed hog feed
How do you offer your hog feed. I went looking at the feed stores but everything I found was a little rabbit pellet looking thing nothing that would stay on top of 1/2 inch mesh like a Lab block. Or am I just looking at the wrong feed?

That is the way the hog food looks. I only feed it once and a while since I got a 60 bags of it. But to tell the truth I don't like it much. I think it is missing something??? My rats don't like it much, so I only use it when they run out, before the boys feed the tanks again.

Ive had really good luck with hog feed as a base and then add other stuff to it. I started out by following a fellow members here idea and made a feeder out of pvc pipe. Use a straight piece of 2" with an elbow at the end and put 1/4" hardware cloth over elbow end and works as a sorta hopper. I found out just tossing it in cage works as good as anything and have pulled all my feeders

I tried the hog feed and didn't like it either the asf's turned it into dust quickly, plus I might be wrong but I noticed slower growth rates. Loved the price but decided mazuri 6f was the way to go.
