    Dinker hunters..
What do you look for when picking through a LPS, baby ball selection or ordering the CH bag o' balls from Africa?
    besides the obvious of course...

My Lfs has one baby Im going to go back and have sexed this afternoon from my local store. Very dark, clean white belly with some nice flames. Minimal blushing, no alien heads, but some black speckling where the alien eyes would have been. I love dinker projects, Im hoping Im not reading to much into this one just because I want my own.

I look for greenish or lighter eyes, clear bellies, flames, odd spots of white or orange that seem out of place, breaks in the neck stripe etc. I have some interesting dinkers but don't know how to put picks on here, gona give it a shot :(

Update; Can't post pics so this reply could be deleted.

Ok, no one had probes so we couldnt sex the snake, but I was allowed to take a couple pics to get everyones opinion on.

In my opinion its just another slightly different normal. If you really like the snake though, then get it. Personally I dont see anything that really stands out or anything "special", but hey, if the snake seems special to you, thats all that matters. :D

The speckling looks like a reduced granite. I would say if its a female for sure go for it.

Absolutely. Either way, it's a beautiful snake. Maybe it won't be anything besides a normal after all, but it may be special in other ways.

All snakes seem special to me, a big reason why I chose to keep them in my home is because if I could care for and own everyone saw I would. lol!

But space is limited so I'd like to keep to only owning potential investments at the moment. Since theres no one there to sex it I think I'm going to pass for now. I'm dieing for a dinker project, but I can wait for something alittle more interesting :).
Thanks for the opinions, if anyones in my area and would like to know where to find the baby Id be happy to reply to PMs.
