How long should a thawed rat last in the fridge?
So hubby was being a dear and pulled out rats for me to feed and put them in the fridge in their plastic baggie.

I got sick and snakes did not get fed on schedule since they won't eat for him. Didn't think anything about the rats he pulled, I thought he put them back in the freezer before they thawed completely.

Today I'm cleaning out the fridge, and find the baggie of rats in the bottom drawer where a helpful child moved it.

They've been in the fridge for a week. Think they're ok to feed, or not ? How can you tell if a thawed rodent is spoiled anyway?

It smells funny and falls apart when thawed out.

eeeh...I would just toss them. If it was only a couple days I would say they are fine but a week :/

I am not sure though, I don't keep rats in the fridge for more then a few hours.
