Re: What would you produce?
Considering you have a male pastel already, I would get a female pin.
Re: What would you produce?
Or get a male pin and put it to the female mojave for jigsaws or get a female pin and put the male Mojave to the pin for jigsaws and then the male to the female mojave to make supers.
Re: What would you produce?
I would run both the males through all the females and hope for some split clutches :P IF you did throw in a pinstripe, I would go for spinners if it was a male, or Jigsaws.
Re: What would you produce?
Cross your mojaves. Mojave to spider (for your wallet). Get a female pin to your male mojo. Leave your pastel for now. Bunble bees are in a little bit of a decline value wise, but they are beautiful. But i do think Bees are better looking than the mojave spider cross. Depends if you go value or looks , which is subjective so thats your call.
Re: What would you produce?
I was thinking about shooting for Super Mojaves, Bumblebees, and possibly pairing the normal with the male Mojave. I like all of these ideas though....Mojave Spiders are amazing. Like I said, this is my first breeding season upcoming. One male can be paired with 2 females in one season right?
Re: What would you produce?
I personaly would breed the Mojo to the normal to get more mojo's and I'd breed the pastel to the spider for bee's and to the female mojo for pastave's.
Mojos, Pastaves, Pastels, Spiders, Bees and norms.
Thats just me though.
Re: What would you produce?
I am not sure about your financial state but if I had that collection this is what I would do. I would then hold back most, if not all, the morph females.
Mojave x Normal (50% Mojave 50% Normal)
Mojave x Mojave (25% Super 50% Mojave 25% Normal)
Mojave x Spider (25% Spider Mojave 25% Mojave 25% Spider 25% Normal)
I would replace the pastel with a double co-dom with a pastel gene in it for next season.
I would invest in a few more females for future seasons with that double co-dom male. Most likely a Bee, Lesser, Pinstripe, and Piebald.
Good luck! :)
