    Finally!!!!
I finally got my first lock. I paired my 1.0 butter with a 0.1 normal. I attempted to breed her last year to a pastel that I have with no luck. I got her from a friend who got her in 1997 as a hatchling. She was just a pet. When I got her she was only 1700g. I quarantined her and began feeding her weekly. She was almost 2000g prior to attempts last year with no luck. This season I started cooling in Oct and pairing in Nov. The 2 of them would coil together, but no locks. I sexed them again, both popping and probing. I even tried another male. I was ready to give up. I decided to try one last pairing and wouldn't you know it, a lock. Now I get to keep pairing and I better get that incubator ready. Now if she will just ovulate for me. Btw she is almost 2600g this year.
