Will this be a problem?

So I was intending on buying a gerbil, if it were too close to the snakes air will he go into feed mode all the time?

Nope not a problem.

Nope. Many people keep rodents in the same room as the snakes. It might lower the feeding response a little bit, but that is about it.

Should I quarentine him for a bit? He would be from a pet store that's 90% reptile.

Yes, you should quarantine all new animals for at least 60 days.
