A little advice, please.

I recently adopted a 7 month old BP. She was half starved and dehydrated. She is very passive and gental considering the condition she came to me in. I have had her for about a week now and She has ate and is drinking well. The condition she was in came from neglect. She has no signs of illness or mites. I know that they say not to take on BP's in this state, but my heart went out to her and I love her already. I havn't owned a BP since I was 15 and I'm 28 now. Her cage is set up by the "book". It's been along time and I wanted to know if there is anything else that I could do to ensure that she has the best quality life she can?

if her temps and humidity are right and your terrarium size is right then just make sure she has a snug hide, clean water and feed her an appropriate size meal once a week and she will do just fine. there's no need to overfeed her . her weight will climb quickly till she is of proper weight for her size.
i personally see nothing wrong in taking in a disadvantaged ball as long as your willing to nurse it back to health. good work:gj:

Thank you so much. It makes me feel good to know I'm doing the right things. She really is a wonderful snake and she deserves so much better than her first 7 months of life have been.

I would offer a soaking every 3rd day. This will help hydrate the snake and usually, this will make them feel better than almost anything.
