Want a boa
Well I am wanting to get a garbage disposale lol. I like the BP's but they are too picky. I
keep hearing different things about adult sizes and I have some questions.
I would like a boa that gets around 6ft long and comes in albino color. I don't know what all options I have tho.
I would take a tree boa, tree python or some boa but I need it to be around 6ft long adult size. Any bigger and caving is gonna be a issue for me.

Re: Want a boa
BCI's are great. The have great temperments and mine doesnt have any feeding problems. They have great temperments and males will get in the 6 foot range. And they do have albino BCI's, which can be super variable. The coral albinos are absolutely amazing but can be pricey. If you go to a show, you can pick up an albino in the 200-275 range. But online they have been going for 350 shipped at the lowest.

Re: Want a boa
BPs are actually great eaters if you get their husbandry down just right. I've had two of my Ball pythons picky at the start, but they eat like pigs now.
For a 6 foot full grown boa, I'd go with a BCI male. As stated above, they do make great pets and are very placid snakes. My BCI male is great and hasn't ever refused for me. He's a true pig at heart:D.
Green Tree pythons or Emerald Tree boas aren't bad, but I wouldn't consider them to be a beginner python or boa. They are more at an intermediate level for keeping them.

Re: Want a boa
Does it have to be in the 6' range? Or could it be smaller, perhaps? I was thinking about the Hogg Island Boas, though I don't know if those come in albino. They're pretty pale in comparison to the normal BCI, though. One of these days I will have a Hogg. Oh yes...I will. :D
But I digress....
A male BCI definitely fits into the description you gave, too. And they are such sweet snakes.
