Unable to post a pic?

I dont seem to be able to post any attachments.

I'm missing the "Manage attachments" box mentioned in the FAQs and under "Posting rules" it says I "may not post attachments".

Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason?

We don't do attachments here except in rare cases. If there's a FAQ buried somewhere that says how to do that, then it is likely something that came default with the original vBulletin software.

We use IMG tags. You host your picture somewhere on the web, either a place like photobucket or your free gallery space here. Then get the URL for the picture itself and place it between the tags [IMG]http://www.yourpichost/foldernames/picturefile.jpg[/IMG] like that.

When you're typing a post like this one I'm typing now, there are a bunch of buttons and font controls at the top of the box. One of those buttons is yellow and looks like a picture of a mountain with a little sun in the corner...if you click on that, it opens a box to paste your picture's URL in and then it will automatically insert the proper tags for you, so you don't even have to remember them if you don't want to.
