Heat tape/ Helix question please help
So I am wiring up my newly built rack and wanted to test a level of the heat tape with the helix. When the probe is directly on the tape (under a tub) I can get it to 94 but thats with the helix on 109, it maxes out at 110. When I put the probe in to the tub with the helix still on 109 I can only reach about 87 or so.

I left the probe in the tub last night and woke up to the helix being turned off. Any ideas. Thanks everyone

First give the heat tape and tub a day to adjust. Also, you only need the back 1/3 of the tub were the heat tape is to be 90 degrees. So you helix running at 105 degrees to but the back of the rack at 90 sounds fine to me. My helix is set at 99 degrees to keep my rack at 90 and that is also in a room that is about 78 degrees.
