    how to keep temp up??
    Ok so some people have been telling me to get rid of my heat lamp because it messes up the humidty so what kind of bulb should i use to keep the temp high in the tank?

    Use an under tank heater. If you still need a heat bulb to keep the ambient temp up use a water bowl with a larger surface area and put it near the heat that keeps the humidity up for me in the display tanks I have.

    UTH all the way. Then a lamp can be used as an extra to keep the ambient temps up. Ceramic or red bulbs work well.

    For ambient heat only, blue midnight bulbs are best, followed by red night and ceramic heat emitters. But lamps are only really to boost ambient temps.

    For actual warm/basking side temps, use an under tank heater or flexwatt, and be sure to have them on a thermostat.
