Not sure where the thread went about that awful CL ad with the pics of the bp on a heatrock..but it prompted me to checkout petfinder.com. Found this poor guy out in Mansfield at their humane society...expecting a call back from them soon, the lady I spoke to didn't have too much info. Said they've had him awhile & no one has ever called about him :( I asked about the shavings since they looked cedar...she wasn't sure about that either. I might have to make a trip out to Mansfield this weekend to take a look at him.

The CL ad probably got put into the Quarantine room. I hope it works out for you on the adoption. That guy has some nice blushing and he doesn't look very happy in that big, open tank. And shame on those people for just abandoning him...

Poor baby :( I'd definatly go and take a look at him, those look like cedars chips to me and thats a BIG no no for sure. I'd let the lady know too as soon as you speak to her.

People really disgust me sometimes..thank goodness the landlord brought him to the shelter, rather than let him go or something. I will never understand how people can just abandon a living thing that depends on them for survival. I'm so anxious for them to call me back!

Just thinking about him makes my heart hurt :( I mentioned the shavings when I spoke to the lady, she was really clueless..she thought that may have been what he was brought in with but wasn't sure. She says he hasn't eaten since they got him & she couldn't tell me how long they've had him. If that's what he's being kept in then we all know exactly why he hasn't been very hungry!
