    Lost!!
So last night my BP got out of his tank. I am hoping to get some good advice on how to find him and/or how to lure him out. I have looked all over and am having alot of trouble finding him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

My favorite trick is the flour on the floor (only works for hardwood or tiled floors). It lets you know what room they're moving around in. Set some by any holes in the walls if you have them too, just to make sure.

You can try the plastic baggie trick. Get stop n shop bags, and bait them with reaaaallly smelly rats (crack the heads open if you have to) and set them up in places you think he might be hiding. When and if you hear the bag crinkling, nab your snake.

The best trick is the bottle trap. Get a big old soda bottle, and poke air holes in it. Get a really smelly pre-killed rat (the fresher the better, it's more tempting and won't rot over the heat), and put it in the bottle, and then put that on a uth mat. The heat will make it smell even more, and it will lure your snake out. The snake will crawl in, eat the rat and be too fat to crawl back out if you're lucky.

Good luck! I hope you find your little guy.

Check in and around anything that produces heat in the area, electronic equipment( computers, stereos, speakers, etc...), appliances, furniture,etc... If the are any boxes or dressers with clothes or anything, check those. Alot of times they won't go to far from their enclosures. They will look for the first dark, tight place they can find to hide...

I have tried looking in the areas close to the tank. But so far no luck. I put a heating mat on the ground close to the tank and a mouse in a container close to the heating pad... in hopes that the warmth and the scent will draw him out... but no luck so far...

He's probably not going to come out during the day. You have a better chance of catching him at night. Stay up late with a flashlight and keep the house dark...

Here is a thread on how to make a snake trap. I can't tell if the photos are still attached since I am on a work computer and they are blocked... Good luck in your search...

Keep an eye on your cat and dogs and see if you notice them acting funny or staring or overly interested in something or someplace out of the ordinary. They have a better chance of finding him before you do. Also check around the kitchen to see if there are any openings in the cabinets or any place where he can get into the walls.

This. If he only went missing a short time ago, he probably hasn't even left the room. Check any places you might have overlooked because 'he couldn't possibly get in there', if he really wanted to he'd find a way.

They're nocturnal, so you might have to wait till later on tonight for any success.
