    Growing Up
My BP is about 4.5 inches in diamter in his thickest spot. Adult mice seem to get devoured quicklly so I was wondering at about what age or size should I try switching to baby rats?

    you have big mice...

You can feed them roughly the same size of the diameter of your snake. It should be just slightly smaller; enough to see them go down, and gone within the day :)

I would start to feed her rats, you'll have to figure out a size. It's easier to switch them over while they dont really care about what they are eating. After they grow up some, they start to get picky about their food.

Age is not really taken into account. Just the size of the snake and the feeder rat. Some breeders start snake on rats from the start.

Man if your snake is 4.5 inches wide then you need to be feeding her one big rat!
