    First Real Bite
Thought I would like to share my little experience. I feed in seperate containers for most of my BP's except a couple picky ones that will only eat in their tubs. So Sunday is feeding day, and I am going about my usual business.

I have three seperate tubs so I can feed three at the same time to help speed up the process. When I set them in the tub they know it's feeding time. They get really alert, and zip and zag all over the tubs looking for their rat. They strike. They eat. Then we take them out of the feeding tubs, and putting back in the rack.

Usually once they eat, and we get them out they are right back to normal chillin' out mode.

This Sunday was a little different. I went to get Boba Fett my 350ish gram normal male, and he was still super alert. Then I did a little wiggle with my index finger which was just poking out from under his belly, and bam his head shot around to see what the movement was.

I said to my wife he's gonna bite my finger. She started laughing. So to prevent the bite, I went to grab him with my other hand. He decided my other hand looked more tasty than my index finger lol. Tagged me right on my index fingers knuckle both top and bottom.

I did the old Homer Simpson "doh", and my wife at this point was laughing her butt off. One drop of blood on top and bottom, and with one wipe it was gone. I did not get any pictures because I wiped the blood then couldn't even see where the bite was lol.

So very anti climatic especially when I knew it was coming in the first place, and was more funny than anything.

lol glad you took it so lightly. that sounds like it was a funny situation, when normally people would be like "oh my god its biting me! AAAH"

Yeah he was still in feeding mode, and as soon as I saw how he reacted to my finger I knew I was getting bit.

The way I look at it. It was my fault. I am sure I smelled like rat, and that didn't help. Usually I do the feeding, and my wife does the transporting from tub to feeding tub back to tub routine.
