What are BP's doing when they crane ther head way up?
My girl was doing a giraffe imitation tonight and it made me wonder. She had a portion of her body out of her hide craned way up in a straight line. Wobbling a tiny bit I guess because she was trying to stay up I dunno. She looked up at the vent thats only half covered. (I covered up one vent and half of the other, the door acts as a vent to.) and then she kinda looked all around. I sorta wondered if maybe she knew some moths had gotten in the house or something.
Just made me curious just what she was up to. :rofl:
Any of your BP's do that? Or have any other odd habits.
I am learning so much today. Like I never ever knew snakes yawned.

They do that usualy. AKA periscope. I read somewhere that it means that they are comfortable and just exploring around. But I dont know if that was a fact or guess.
If you think about it another way. Imagine you are a snake and living in a grassland type of environment. They only thing that could improve your sight is doing the "periscope."

Thats true it was cool to see. BP's are addictive. I can see why people have so many. She's alot of fun.

Well I meant to type "in the ground, in a grass land or low altitude, type of enviroment" But is late and my body is tired, cant keep up with my brain. I wish my brain would get tired so easy too, so I could get some sleep!

I was planning on making a thread on it myself, was wondering why she was doing it. If its not then what is she doing! lol

Sorta except she was using alot more of her body, she got waaaay up there.

Their periscope the area out aka getting a better vantage point of their surroundings.

yeah in her tub she'll periscope until there's more of her in the air then on the ground, I was just curious. :P
