Hunger strike broken with live food, questions.
So I have a adult female just over 1200 grams which I had since x-mas. She look 12 meals for me before going off feed about 6 weeks ago. I might add she came in as previously bred but never built follicles. From the get go she looked thin not skinny but not ideal and certainly not good breeding weight. I never got much improvement on her. To me it never made any since she stopped eating as she wasn't thick. I also have a 8 month old female pastel. I got her to just over 600 grams before she stopped feeding. She was always hungry never refused a meal and ate every 3 days religiously in shed or not. 31 days ago she stopped feeding. I didn't expect it this early on but she was feeding very heavily. Today I clean all the tubs and switched the mulch. I tried live rats (small smalls) for the first time. They both took the rats not when on hemostats as I first offered but after dropping the rats and returning the tubs into the rack they both took.

I don't mind feeding live rats. I prefer not to have to run to the breeder every 1-2 times a week but will. Could it have been the snakes where hungry but not interested in F/T? The female pastel roamed the tub nightly and seemed to take interest in the F/T but never went for them, even if left alone. I just find it alittle odd the started back like this.
