Humidity in hide?

hey guys just wondering what's some good techniques to bumpin up the humidity in hides?, I cut a hole in the top of his hide and put a sponge over it that did some butwhat do you guys do?

What type of enclosure are you using?

the humidity in his tank is perfect, just in his hide I wanted to increase it just a little while he sheds, seeing how he's in there 24/7 haha

I've never personally had to make a humid hide for my ball pythons. But when seeking to make a humid hide I simply add moistened moss to it.

If the humidity in your enclosure is "fine" then you don't need a humid hide.

That being said, during shed, your over all humidity should be 70% and that measurement should be taken with a digital hygrometer.

I think the most common humid hide is a Tupperware container with an entrance cut out, and filled with damp sphagnum moss.

You can buy the sphagnum moss, moisent it (don't soak), and put it in the hides if you really want to, but it's not necessary if your humidity is fine.
