So in the 4 times I've fed him since I've had him he's been fed in a separate enclosure with no substrate. This time I decided to pre-scent and put it in his enclosure. After pre-scenting i opened his tub and just tossed the mouse directly into his hide. It took him LESS than 3 seconds to to figure out it was food, strike once, and then coil. I see a lot about people having feeding problems, and I know im definitely not the most knowledgeable, but i just thought "Hey.. dont mice wonder around sometimes? So why wouldn't they ever get unlucky and hit a hole with a snake in it? So I tried it out, and got a sweet feeding response.

    Just thought I'd share.
