    Pattern changes
K so I was looking closely at Medusa this morning during her first handling (she was awesome! 10 minutes and she did nothing but slither around my arm and stick her tongue out at me, she tried to slither up my shirt so I put her away, Idk if she was starting to get nervous or not but she seemed to get a little antsy so I put her back.... but anyway as I was looking at her back I noticed that the black strip on her black is fading in blotches, I was wondering, does the pattern fluctuate as the snake grows up?

    Just curious :P

The black parts should always stay black...sometimes the other colors will change hue a little but but there should be no pattern change.

Are you sure its not just a bit of stuck shed?

No, the pattern never changes. The color may get darker or lighter with age but pattern remains the same. There are some breeders that even make ID cards showing the pattern of hatchlings for future identification.:colbert2:
