    Pretty girls
A new girl. :) When I'd gotten her, I'd assumed she was a BCI like my other red-tail, but now that I've had her home for a bit I noticed more of the difference in her face. Maybe she's a BCC mix? Doesn't quite look like a BCC pattern-wise to me (and she has pinkish tones to her side) but who knows. The person I had gotten her from had gotten her in a trade with a few of her clutchmates. She's possibly het for albino, though I doubt I'll ever find out either way if she actually carries it.

Her tail is so different from my other!

I'm thinking of calling her "Antigone". Satine, the RTB I got several months ago, is growing like a weed! Would never believe she was as big as Antigone is when I first got her.

    They look great!
They do grow quick if fed well!

I think Roxanne has only missed one or two shed-related meals since I've gotten her. And after that, it seems she learned how to time her sheds better so she doesn't miss out on the weekly meal. (Okay, probably not intentional, but still. ;) )

I was especially happy because she went from live to f/t the first time I tried, without any hesitation. Have to love that after having to switch BP's over and having it be a process that can take awhile.

She's definitely a BCI, a very nice one to! It's possible for her to have some cross in her but it doesn't make much of a difference in their appearance. Anywho, congrats on the new addition!

Awesome looking girls! Did she actually refuse or did you just not offer? Boas are generally ravenous and no silly shed is going to stop them from nomnoming some rodent!

What a couple of beauties. :) Your first girl's coloring is sweet and I love your second girl's tail. I would say she's a BCI, but I'm definitely not an expert. On the matter of feeding and shedding....I know how that feels! lol. My male, Diablo, will gobble anything I throw at him, shed or not. My female, Aphrodite, is a little less inclined to eat when she's in shed, but that doesn't stop her from acting all kinds of interested for several minutes. :D

Not a Bcc. Maybe a Central American cross though, but with all the crossing going on you'll probably never find out. Pretty Bci!

She was super in the blue and was coiled up giving me a 'bug off" look, so I didn't even bother trying to offer. I'm sure if I had put something near her she'd have tried to strike it, but I figured one week wasn't going to hurt her.

It certainly won't hurt at all! =) My only point is that sheds don't need to disrupt your feeding regime, boas will eat it anyways! ;)
Good luck with these girls and keep us posted as they grow!
