Any Woma keepers on here???

:snake:I have 0.1 Woma and she is a reeaaallly interesting snake. Kinda different from what im used to keeping lol.

I'm more of a fan of the Light contrast womas. but dark contrasts have a look all their own imo.
Any other keepers out there?

I LOVE WOMAS! (But sadly I do not own one).
Beautiful snake, just beautiful.

dont own one currently but will deff own one by the time the year is up.

The womas and black headed pythons are just plain beautiful. I own none, and I can never make up my mind which one I like best. Yours is so beautiful that I almost would say I like it better than the black headed python. They used to be crazy expensive.

I know Skiploder has at least one... I met and almost bought his male "Hank," but ended up getting a Stimson's Python (and BP) from him instead. Stimson's are another Australian python, but totally different species - both are super cool snakes, and yours is a pretty one! :)

I forgot to ask, why is the woma different than what you are used to keeping? Is it because of the last picture? Judging by your screen name, I'd guess that you have blood pythons, so temperment can't really be it. So I'm curious. :)

Womas and black headed pythons (the only snakes in their genus) are very different from any other snakes out there. They are physically very ancient compared to other snakes in the pythonidae family. One of the physical differences is that they have no heat pits.

They are just kind of oddities among pythons, but very very cool snakes!

I hope to have a woma project some day (along with every other aussie species probably, lol). Great looking girl you have there!!

I still have Noodles and Corky (a female who you have not met). Noodles is the one that is almost an anery...........no orange or yellow on him.........

My 6 year old daughter carries him around and he hangs there like a............noodle.

I used to have blackheadeds too. Cool snakes...............

I have a young female, she is my only snake so far. Well I had a corn snake for a few weeks but really wasn't into it. She is my first snake, and I can't recommend them more highly for beginners. They don't stress very easily, are very hardy, don't need high humidity, seem to be pretty tolerant of temperature fluctuations and are usually very docile. My Susie is so sweet, she has never once tried to strike at me, even her feeding response is gentle, though that is unusual for this species and it will probably change as she grows. For a snake, she has a ton of personality.:)

She has shed since this pic and is a tad bit bigger, but not much.
