Beavis first shed and ate yayy
Beavis is my first snake so obviously after a month of fasting i was a little on nerve although i know this is normal.... He finished his first shed with me tonight which i was very pleased with. Perfect shed his first time with me yayy... So i thought i might of hooked him on gerbils because i fed him twice and he hasent eaten for a month i assumed because i have been trying back on mice... so after i took the skin out i got a freshly killed mouse and dangled it infront of his hide and then dropped it as soon as i dropped it the mouse dissapeared into the hide i feel soo much calmer now =) :taz:

Congrats! Its always a great feeling when your snake starts to eat again :)

Watch out with using Gerbils, they can easliy become addicting, and from my experiance Gerbils are a bit more aggressive than mice and can have a mean bite.
