    Tap water works just fine. I bought that stuff and its been sittin around ever since.

    You don't need that stuff for ball pythons. if you want to spend the money then go for it. It won't hurt but it is not necessary. I use tap water for the snakes and distilled water for misting (I hate cleaning water spots)
