    light bulb covers
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a light bbulb cover for just a typical porcelain light fixture. I have checked home depot and Menards with no luck whatsoever. Or, even better yet, would anyone have a diy solution or be able to point me in the right direction? I don't have time to order and wait for anything so, an immediate solution is needed.

    Hi,

I made my own out of mesh, pliers and blood - wearing gloves might avoid you having to shed the last one.

Rember to bend the spikes inwards so the snake cannot get snagged if it decides to climb on them.

Run your hands over it to find any spots that need filing down before fitting - it's a pain in the nadgers if you find them afterwards.

Oh and with the heat kicked off by ceramic heaters it is better to use the ceramic blocks show in the last pit to attatch it rather than the plastic ones in the earlier pics - those have a tendency to melt I found.

That looks like a good idea, thanks for the pics, I was thinking of making some and it helps to see some pics for a reference.
