TMZ is reporting that War Machine, formerly know as Jonathan Koppenhaver, is once again in trouble with the law. He was arrested last night in San Diego for assault with a deadly weapon. Reports are claiming that War Machine was fighting with bouncers at Thrusters Lounge and then ran when the police arrived.

Once caught, War Machine was handcuffed and equipped with a spit bag, which is a mesh bag used to prevent unruly perpetrators from spitting on the officers.

This is not War Machine's first brush with trouble. In September of 2007, he was found guilty of striking a Las Vegas man in the face and choking him unconscious during a parking lot scuffle. In November of last year War Machine was involved in an altercation where he allegedly assaulted numerous people during a birthday party for an adult film actress.

War Machine's last MMA fight was in October 2009 when he lost a split decision to David Mitchell at "Tachi Palace Fights 1: Most Wanted."
